Big cats are elusive and mysterious creatures and this Puma is no different. It seems that the exact origins of this variety are unknown. Per my research, the best guess is that it is a Pimenta de Neyde and a Habanero golden cross. What we do know is that this big cat first bared its fangs in Italy and delivers an impressive bite at about 300,000 – 400,000 SHU. Like all big cats, Puma is a beautifully colored variety. The leaves, stems and fruit themselves all share the deep purple which it probably inherited from Pimenta de Neyde.
